Logos
Usage
The Ƶ logos are registered trademarks that represent the identity of the University and should not be diluted through substitution or artistic license. The University has the right to remove or report the use of any Kettering logos that do not have expressed permission of use, are not affiliated with the University, defame or slander the University or have been manipulated.
Wordmark
The Ƶ wordmark melds the words “Kettering” and “University” with a specific font treatment, creating a recognizable wordmark. This wordmark or logo is used on stationery, business cards, departmental logos and letterhead. The wordmark may also be used in other print and electronic materials such as brochures, newsletters, bulletins and ads.The official font in the Ƶ wordmark is Berkeley Old Style, interchangeable with Berkeley since it offers a bold and italicized version.
Spirit Mark
The bulldog “General Determination” is the official mascot of Ƶ. The face of General Determination is the official spirit mark of Ƶ. These are official versions of the General Determination spirit mark and must be used with the registered trademark symbol (®). The bulldog may be applied to various products such as: apparel, mugs, banners, buttons, flags, stickers, etc. The bulldog may not be altered or manipulated by adding elements of any kind.
University Seal
The University seal is restricted to official Ƶ business (such as diplomas) and the Office of the President.
